Vegan Dish Soap FAQs

One of our products I am most proud of and enjoy making is our vegan dish soaps.
Why you ask? Well, it is sustainable, I get to support the local economy/community, and I get to go shopping lol.

Why does this page exist you ask?
Well I had a customer ask me if I had this info on my website and I realized I didnt. So, here we are Vegan Dish Soap FAQ.

1. What is this product? To put it simply, it is the same thing as liquid dish soap but without all the extra preservatives, chemicals, and plastic you're left behind with in the aftermath\

2. Why the different containers? Can't I just recycle the plastic? Liquid dish soap requires a special type of plasic that shouldn't be thrown in with normal plastic and has to be broken down in a specific way that makes it basically non recyclable

3. Where do you get your containers from and what are they made out of? I thrift these containers from antique stores all over the state so we are supporting the local economy (trust me I will clean out a thrift or antique store in a heartbeat). The containers range from being made of bone china to hand painted ceramic or your general design. However, I pick out the ones that call out to me the most.

4. How long does the soap last? 8 oz has lasted us a year at a minimum so expect about that range depending on your household and how often you wash your dishes and how many people you're washing for.

5. Why is my dish soap cracking? That is completly fine and has to do with the humidity levels in your home and how rapidly the soap dries out. The soap is still 100% safe to use.
